[News] Our Attorney Takeshi Harigaya comments on police questioning to foreign nationals at HuffPost Japan

In January 2021, a Japanese and Cuban descendent man was questioned by the police in the middle of crowded Tokyo Station. The footage was spread by SNS and counted by more than 250,000 viewers.

Our Attorney Takeshi Harigaya, who was asked by HuffPost Japan to comment on this as a specialist on the foreign matters, stated that this case might lack the pre-requisite reasonable ground for suspicion which could have been constituted an illegal questioning, if it was just because the man had a dread-hair and an appearance of foreign origin.
